There are many boxes around us in our lives, small and large.

When I open and unwrap the boxes, it is always a surprise to see the shape that it forms.

​

The shape of the original box plays the role of a regular canvas; but once it is deformed, it becomes a canvas that is different and extraordinary.

​

Its own uniqueness is the type of canvas that I have searched for.

 

Also, before you open a box, you do not know what is inside. All you can do is imagine what is inside.

 

I want to fill in the boxes with dreams and hopes. I do not want boxes to go to waste, but to become objects of hope.

꿈을 찾아서...
 
우리 주변에는 크고 작은 많은 상자들이 있다.

 

그 상자를 펼 쳤을 때마다 여러 형태의 모양을 발견하고 놀라움과 반가움을 금치 못했다.

 

그것은 내가 찾던 변형된 화면 이었다.

 

항상 네모난 화면에 그림을 그려 오면서, 뭔가 다른, 변형된 화면과 정형화 된 틀에서 벗어나기를 

갈망해 왔다.

 

상자는 나에게 있어 변형된 화면으로서, 훌륭한 캔바스 역할을 해 준다.

 

우리 주변에 흔하게 볼 수 있는 상자는 열어 보기 전에는 그 속에 무엇이 담겨져 있는지 모른다.

 

다만 상상할 뿐이다.

 

나는 그 속에 관람자의 꿈을 담고 싶었고 그 꿈을 펼쳐 보이고 싶다.

 

상자는 그저 버려지는 일상의 상자가 아니라 소망의 상자이길 바람이다.
