About the Artist

Eunah Cho is a contemporary visual artist with a focus in abstract painting. She works and presents her artwork in her studio based in Toronto, Canada.

She is currently creating a series of paintings: “Abyss”, “Dreaming Box”, “Meditation”, and “Timeless”.

Living in a society where we are burdened with limited time, she visualizes what it means to live a timeless life. She believes that the key to happiness is to live with dreams and hope for the future.

Her thoughts are connected in her artwork by presenting birds, which symbolize hope, freedom, and inspirational imagination.

She works with Oriental Black ink, colored pigment, and acrylic with mixed media on Korean traditional handmade paper, “Hanji”.

She received her B.F.A. and M.F.A. from Kyung Hee University in South Korea. She worked and taught at several universities in South Korea for over 15 years.

 

She moved to Canada and presented  her works in her studio in Toronto since 2003.

 

She presented 13 Solo Exhibitions and was selected for exhibitions over 200 times in Seoul, Toronto, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Zurich, Hong Kong etc.
